What is Assisted Living?

Assisted Living Picture Assisted Living candidates are those who desire their independence but need the supportive services and social interaction that is not available at home. Residents usually need assistance with some activities of daily living such as:

	Preparing meals, dressing, bathing
	Supervising medications
	Housekeeping and/or laundry assistance
	Health care assistance or monitoring
	Transportation to doctors, shopping and personal business

The level of assistance can be minimal to comprehensive. At Twilight Haven, the care is tailored to fit the resident's needs.

Who lives in Assisted Living Facilities?

Assisted Living is designed for individuals as an affordable, residential alternative. It provides residents with companionship, security and assistance with the activities of daily living in an independent environment. Assisted Living is ideal for those who are not ready for the expense and intensive level of a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Twilight Haven's Assisted Living Program

Services available include:

	Housing
	3 meals plus snacks
	24-Hour emergency monitoring
	Supervision & dispensing of medications
	Assistance with daily living activities
	Socialization with peers
	Transportation availability

What is the cost?

Twilight Haven's Assisted Living program is one of the most affordable programs in all of Fresno. By allowing custom-tailoring of the care that is needed, the resident's monthly fee covers just what they need, while they enjoy all of the advantages of being a resident of Twilight Haven.

Twilight Haven accepts Medicare, Medi-Cal and SSI payments.

What if more care is needed in the future?

Unlike other Assisted Living facilities in Fresno, Twilight Haven has Skilled Nursing, or full nursing care, available to residents who need it. Upon availability, the resident moves into our Skilled Nursing section. This allows them to continue to nurture the relationships they have established here at Twilight Haven.
